Would anyone have or know where a Conrad bass bridge cover/mute could be found? I need one for my bass. They look identical to the one on this Regent (Matsumoku) bass.
Here's the eBay pic. You can see how filthy the finish was. I don't think the seller even knew what he had as it wasn't even listed as a Conrad. An identical Guyatone model existed as well.
Here is my 1967 Conrad 40177 violin bass. I got it off of eBay. It was kind of a Cinderella piece-filthy dirty, badly strung. It polished up beautifully and, after a new set of Rotosound medium scale flat wound strings, it turned out to be a beauty!
