I couldn't tell you honestly. I only know what I know b/c I wanted to buy this one, and started doing research. (including talking to Jorg) My markbass head won't use this as an extension cab, so I have to keep looking. BUT I played through one of these locally, and IT KILLED! Truly amazing...

yes. more so in some ways. It has a feeling of filling up the room moreso than a traditional front firing amp.

Wow, I took half a night off from TB and my little thread exploded! Thanks for all the input. I DO feel like a got ripped off, but I still have 45 days to return it. I'm trying it again this weekend in a small piano lounge gig this weekend. I really wanted the 10T, so maybe my expectations...

That is 100% true. I only tried it out, b/c I REALLY wanted it to work. yeah, it definitely doesn't...haha I think I'm going to return it and keep searching for a 3.0 10T. That's my unicorn....or Goldilocks...or something like that.. THANKS for all your help TB!!! ah

I actually bought a 3.0 8 for $300. I just found a 6 12 at GC that I could return mine and use the credit towards... (horrible grammar...sorry) ah

Light jazz, behind-dinner gig. (Upright in this case) using a Realist pickup. (very little high freq's). I really had to push the amp pretty hard to even be heard over the sound of my instrument. I ended putting it on a stool nearby, so I could even hear anything...

In a way, yes! MY problem is if I should keep the head and buy a new cab...OR return it and keep shopping...so, either way NOT a Shuttle problem...

Actually the 3.0 is 175 watts into a single 8 ohm driver. You need the extension cab to hit 300. If I ran it into a 4 ohm cab, would it push it with 300W? 300 for a 3.0 8t is a pretty good price. True, but I THOUGHT I was getting a 10.

you are correct. 300W 8 or 10" speaker. also a 600W with a 12" speaker
