Over the weekend I found an old Ibanez rb850 sitting in a corner at a localish shop and the feel and price one me over, enough to not even plug it in. Once home and with my normal fafing I was pleased to hear how it gave me a wonderful 90s modern tone. Not Spector but for my intents, good enough.

I have the sterling rayss and like it, it’s close enough to a mm for me but definitely not the same, had a jmj and liked my cv p bass better for that. The corvette I really just don’t jive with for reach and neck overall.

This is the level of genius I appreciate. You may have just made up my mind. Much gratitude.

Absolutely, I’m a pedal a holic and always have a graphic eq or two on my board. My favorite is Justin chancellor with a p bass, eq, and a rat. The Spector tone is probably the most distinct that I’d like to have. Plus the curved body and build quality have me really itching for one. I know...
