Curious if anyone has ever had this happen to them: Tuner pedal - a D'Addario Chromatic Tuner - works perfectly fine when used in-line (bass-tuner-chorus pedal-amp) but when I put it into the Effects Loop (still just the tuner first and the chorus pedal), it gets all wonky and doesn't pick up...

In a previous band I was 100% fretless but now I only play fretless occasionally in one of my two bands - otherwise it's all frets for me these days. I do have two fretless basses that I'll play every so often and love the sound. Just don't have the outlet to play it more regularly at the moment.

I've recently become a GK convert after stints with Hartke and Darkglass products (which I still like). I'm loving the GK 1001RB paired with a Neo 4x10 and 1x15 - nice growl and lots of tonal options. I also have a Class D, the GK MB500 which really packs a punch and has great rock-based sounds.

While I've definitely seen some "what the hell are they thinking" pricing on Reverb I think, for the most part, that pricing is fair. I've had very positive experiences both as a buyer and a seller using Reverb.

Hoping for some help or recommendations from the community... I've been playing a DG Microtubes 900v2 for a couple of years now and have loved the tone, versatility, size/weight. But I have heard that they can experience problems "later in life". I bought this amp used a few years ago - again...

Same boat here - have been using a Hartke LH1000 with GED2112 preamp and a dbx 166xl compressor. Just getting to know the DG Microtubes and love it so far but Compressor is limited.

Scored a Fender Tony Franklin Signature Precision which normally sells for around $1,600 for $750. It was an eBay sale and I clicked $750 thinking it was the starting bid - turns out it was 'Make An Offer' which the seller accepted right away.

I love the tone from an Ibanez BTB20TH which comes with Nordstrand Big Singles. I'm not as crazy about the shape of the body and the look of it (don't hate it, just don't love it). There are other basses where I prefer the look, fretboard, etc. that are also more affordable. SO, I'm debating...

Just had a similar experience with a set of 66s. Just dead, lifeless. I’d been away from Rotos for awhile and was anxious to try them again...very disappointing. I guess their quality control isn’t what it once was. Onto D’Addario for me...

Looking to pick up one of these two basses and curious what the TB community thinks. I play in a metal band so that's my primary focus but I do expect to do some jazz quartet stuff once things are back to normal. Any pros/cons on either of these that anyone can share?

My Hartke LH1000 suddenly started picking up a local radio station signal. This happens with or without the instrument cable plugged in. And I’m not using a wireless system. Any idea why?

Thanks. It's worth trying out to see the difference in sound. I was worried about damaging the VX or the head since the VX is only rated to 400 watts.
