    My Ampeg BA115 won't stop blowing fuses!

    My ampeg is a BA115HPT. It hums then blows the fuse. All semiconductors have been replaced. No change. Could it be the transformer? What do you think?

    My ampeg BA115-HPT amp keeps blowing the fuse immediately. There is a loud hum then the fuse blows. The semiconductors have all been replaced. Any idea what it could be? Maybe the transformer? I hope not. There aren't any available, or does someone have one for sale?

    Hello, I have a BA-115HPT bass amp that blows the fuze and hums real bad before the fuze blows. I replaced all the power transistors and all big caps, and rectifier-KBU808. Still the same. I turn it off as soon as I get the hum.
