I've noticed that the vast majority of amps are more expensive in the UK. I've been looking to buy one of the new GK MB combos but they're over $200 more normally. Is there any specific reason for this and do you think that they'll drop price within 6 months or so? Thanks!

I'm about to purchase my first real amp and am stuck on which to choose. I've decided to go for one of the GK combos due to their power to weight ratio and they're reasonably cheap price, even though I haven't played one yet! Do you think this is wise? I will mostly be playing smallish gigs...
