It was mostly just curiosity, the lowest I'd seen was C standard. Yeah, I sorta thought that too low would just turn into muddy noises.

Do you reckon that would be too low anyway?

The only one I know that is decent is the Dan Armstrong '69 Bass, it's both short-scale and 24 fret, so it's got easy reach

More specifically I'm talking a normal Fender Jazz. And if need be tell me if they're too much.

Just asking, what type of pedals would I need to sound like Death From Above. I'm talking about the album The Physical World in particular, not their other stuff. Any ideas?

Oops... should've mentioned that I'm decent at using my two fingers, but I'm trying to use pick since I prefer the sound. Thanks for the link to the sticky as well.

I've been playing bass at least once a week for about 3 months, and I'm alright at it, but I still have a lot a problems with switching frets, my pinkie is useless and my brain can't comprehend how to use picks. Are there any bass lines or songs that you know that are good to learn/get better at...
