Bass into pedals - DI out to sound

Empress compressor. Order of pedals were tuner, Sadowsky preamp, compressor. I didn’t turn any of the pedals off. I just switch the compression from 4:1 to 2:1. Input was at about 50%; output was about 60%.

Thanks for the quick feedback. A lot of info and some answers I don’t have but it was just the bass distorting. Sound guy lowered the bass. I got frustrated trying to find the right balance and it was frustrating not hearing that thump or feeling it emitting from the speaker. I’m wondering now...

I got the C10 & foam buds. First experiences- heavy distortion. Sound man lowered bass. I adjusted tone and bass control on active selection on my bass. Still not a full sound. I was also still using my amp and speaker to get some thump but I tried to compensate my iem balance by adjusting tones...

It was the left ear that experienced pain after the gig.

They started to hurt after wearing them for a period of time. They weren’t custom. They were borrowed. I guess I can purchase a pair but I didn’t want to do that and then have to abandon them
