Hi, Do you guys know if you can push the poles up in this pickup? to adjust the hieght

Cheers for the help, mine won't budge though. However, I found some 5mm magnets on the internet and I just stuck them over the poles to raise them, seems to do the trick! I'll probably go for the dimarzios eventually though. Invalid Link Removed

Right, i'll give that a go, it might save me buying new pickups! what did you use to push them up? and how much force is needed so I don't break anything?

I have a Fender MIJ 75 reissue and I'm having a little problem with my tone. As the fretboard has a radius, and you follow this on your bridge, it means that the E and G are louder as they are close to the pickups... Ive seen some pickups where you can raise the poles to counter this problem...

Yeah I think it is that. Like I've said I've lowered it and left it over night and it doesn't rattle anymore! I think with it being new its being allitle moody hehe. Cheers for your help fellas!

I see... I havn't got the end part of my string that long, but I have wrapped it as low as possible. So you're saying it needs to be longer so its wrapped fully round the peg, starting from the top and finishing right down at the bottom?

I've already tried this, it worked for a bit and then started rattling again... tried again and still rattled.... what about atatching some kind of hair bobble to it to add some pressure? Although I think this may not be enough...

It seems to have worked well, I'll find out for sure when I gig with it. I've also noticed a really annoying buzz when I play my open A string and harmonics on that string... It seems like it's coming from somewhere on the headstock but I cant see anything that could be causing the buzz and no...

no it was a different one, there was a reissue 75 one, and another which turned out to have a repro neck.

I dont know... i've noticed it's one number long, maybe he typed it wrong in the mail. it looks 70's and he said it was from the 70's.
