    I have been playing these for a few weeks now. At first I had to dial in the EQ, and let them settle a bit. So far they do well for what I want them for. I am not conventional and I want to cut through like a buzz saw. So I'm on a different planet than most guys .

    Hey man. Checking out this thread, I changed the input jack on my sr 406 to a switchcraft input jack and it sounds awesome with the stock preamp and active pick ups. Full sound.
