Not too much information but I found this on fenders page. This was posted as the strings that came on the Percision. "NPS, Gauges .045-.105" Thinking that "NPS" stands for nickel plated steel.

If I were you, I would just order directly through fender. If you go on their website you can do that. I wouldn't deal with guitar center anymore.

Unfortunately that is easier said than done. I am a left-handed player and there are few and far between available to play in stores. I would end up having to order a new one in to try and as far as a vintage I found plenty of places to find used ones but again I would still have to order it.
