Yes you're right, its nature is to play strong till 38Hz but I can pump the frequency under that point and reduce that -10dB..

The Ampeg SVT 1X18 has an usable low freq. (-10dB) = 28Hz I'm very curious to text that bass cases that declare 20Hz..

probably but I can guarantee if you receive that "fart" F# played by the bass and enhanced by the same note played by the guitarist an octave above you really receive a slap on your face!! it's not the same thing if you hear the same F# (same octave) played by the bass and the guitar or worst...

I don't know what to say: I explained my intentions (1x18 cab) and asked suggestion to Ampeg support and they told me to test the SVT410HLF.. not, for example, a 1x15..

mmmm.. I'm agree with you (and Zooberwerx who probably tried to explain the same concept in a previous post). In fact the piezo on my bass works in that direction.. I also noticed (many thanks victor5string!!!) some cabs have a really low response: Link Removed
