No , second hand but I did just take a look at the valves. Definitely mesa 12at7s installed. I wish I could afford to get a good subway speaker to match it but at $3500 for a 212 here in Australia it just ain't happening

I will try a different cab when I can get a hold of one off a friend. If the valves were changed or faulty would this cause any issue?

Yes, have tried cabs individually, same results just less volume. Cabs are 8 ohm and I have the impedance set at 4 ohms

As someone who stupidly sold their d800+ in a moment of reality induced poverty, what would you guys recommend as a replacement as I now have some spare funds. Tt800 or wd800? I liked the d800+ but I would like to try something different

I tend to dig in abit too much when I get excited on stage and as a result I can hear my bass clanking on the frets. Apart from learning self control what would be the better fix? Raise the action or loosen the truss rod a little for some more relief?
