    I don't know if I'd like that too much... I suppose it's worth a shot. I'm looking more to get a completely synthesized sound rather than alter my bass signal. I know I could get a synth sound I liked, I just downloaded the software just to take a look at it. Very thorough, I was surprised.

    Practicing scales/arpeggios/runs the fastest that you can do CORRECTLY is key to gaining coordination ime. And if you mess up, start over, no matter where you are in the exercise/scale. Practicing mistakes is never a good idea. There's no "finger weightlifting" or whatever that you can really do...

    Nitti's "Movable Anchor" technique is what I use. Although I tend not to associate it with the word "anchor," as it makes me think I'm weighing my hand down or something... I used to study with Adam, and he explained to me the benefit of this is that your hand retains it's natural relaxed...
