Cool. Thanks for your fast reply. :) Somebody just said to me that you can't *NOT* connect speakers to an amp because it needs to drive a load in order not to burn off. But I said that with these new class D amps with headphone jack they must have considered using it as a headphone amp only...

Do you know if you can use this amp purely as a headphone amplifier or does it need speakers connected?

If it falls through I am interested! Please pm me. I really need a headphone practice amp.

If I may I'd like to recommend to 2 books by Josquin des Pres: - J.S. Bach for bass (Mel Bay, ISBN 978-078662843-8) - Classical masterpieces for bass (Mel Bay, ISBN 0-7866-2890-1) They are both great in training technique and developing the ear, I think. They include complete tabs so...

Spoke to the shop where the bass was originally purchased. They didn't have an GWB35 in stock, but they did have a K5. Although it is a different bridge on the K5, they said that the bridge on the K5 also lifts from the body. I'm actually a little shocked that these bridges apparantly bends...

Well, thing is... Unless I hear back from Ibanez that this in fact how the bridge is designed, I ''can't live'' with it. But that's just me... :) I have asked in this thread if anybody knows if the bridge from the 1005 will directly fit on the 35 - maybe that's a solution. And I sure wouldn't...
