I'm all about the fuzzy Dragonaut bass tone. I just overdrive my 2x15 with my Sunn Beta Bass head. The speakers don't last very long. I just ordered a Big Muff Bass... we'll see if I like it. As for straight up "distorted" bass, I find that overemphasizes the upper-midrange. Nasty.
