Sun came out today. Finally got to take a picture and try to capture the flame in the top. Mine is very dark black unlike other BTB575FM I've seen that can range from greenish to grey and even purp. Without sunlight mine looks BLACK. Never did get a number though...

I also need to find a replacement battery cover. Mines gone. I looked at ibanez replacement parts on line. Looks to be discontinued. Should o just make one or is there another parts source?

I've never used Elixer strings. Didn't like DR for my guitar. Ernie Ball so/so on a standard tuned Jem jr. I have. Btw, could I get a Ivy BTB #? I'll make a little decal and put on the back of the headstock
