    Squier Classic Vibe Bass VI for me!...great bottom end (with flatwound strings) and hit the bass strangle switch, apply some delay/reverb and youre doing classic mid 60s Wrecking Crew sound

    I just got the Squier Classic Vibe Bass VI and couldn't be happier..it stays in tune, intonation is fine all the way up the neck and it sounds like a dream...incredibly deep bass sound for an octave bass:

    '67 Bassman with 2x12cab...gigged with it all through the '90s, now I use it mainly for rehearsals (getting too old to haul the damn thing around)...never had a problem with it..still sounds great

    well, Im glad I did, because I had originally asked for the 384 and they wrote me and said "are you sure you know which one you want, because the 384 and 3842 are NOT quite the same, and all sales are final..you'd be better off sending us a tracing to be sure"..so this way if there is a mixup I...
