Not basses, but kinda shows the style: I just collect the excess of the strap and fold it under the bottom rail of the stand directly under each guitar/bass. This is the Hercules 3-5 guitar stand.

Based on some previous posts with images or information i've downloaded, it's a "hand rubbed oil finish."

Only the German masterbuilt basses have the machined brass (heavy) bridges. The others (even the German Pro series) have die cast bridges which are lighter, but appear the same once installed. The older basses might've all had the same hardware, but I don't believe that's the case for basses...
