Thanks for the nice comments. I must admit when I bought it new way back, while I knew it was different, I didn’t realise there were so few of them. I used it day in and day out for many years and still give it an outing now sometimes. It was used mainly playing 1960s, 70s, 80s pop and rock and...

Yes I have it wrong. It's an age thing you know!!! I have just had a look on You Tube and I think the Applejacks was 'Tell Me When'. It also seems that Megan didn't have a slab fender after all.

That's right Chris Kefford had one at the same time. I don't know if it's true but the story was he painted his black and wrecked it. I think Megan Davis who was a female bass player for the Applejacks also had one when they recorded ‘Have I The Right’.

I still have it. It is in a somewhat roadworn condition these days but still sounds as good as ever. I still have the Marshall amp, and it still works, but not the cabs they were just to large to keep when I stopped playing regularly. :hyper::hyper:

This is a pic of mine when I played a number of years ago. Great bass and a great sound. Went through two Marshall 4x12 cabs and a 50 watt Marshall valve amp.
