Could anyone post a few samples of the hardwire cm-2?

yeah iv read that before that he PROBABLY uses the distortion on the mxr. cant be sure though cause the mxr barely sounds anything like him, maybe cause he has coupled the distortion with other effects

i guess something sounding like rex brown from pantera. (though he has never disclosed what pedal he uses for od). im certain i dont want fuzz or extreme distortion

looking for a crunchy overdrive sound. which among the following would you suggest digitech bad monkey digitech cm-2 boss odb-3 digitech bass driver behringer bdi21 these are the ones available at my local store and before i try any of them i need to know what you guys think.

yeah you're right. Doesn sound quite distorted when played in the mix. Any particular reasons?

Ohk. Got it. So the mods actually help us keep our lower notes from turning into noise. I checked out vids on the hardwire cm-2 and I liked what I heard :) I cant find any decent vids on the BM so I guess il have to try both at a local store. Thanks people.

Could you explain what are the mods done to the BM? And how does a modded differ from the normal one?

I have been playing bass for over a year now without any effects with it. Now im looking for something that increases gain. I looked at many forums here but all people suggest are fuzz pedals. I want that crunchy tone with a little dirt. Would be my first pedal so excuse my lack of knowledge...
