The pickup blend is on a knob that "clicks" upwards and u can blend from there. It's on the high end knob. Thanks for pointing that out. Or you can just buy the bass and find out for yourself! It's a great bass and you should add it to your arsenal.

I counted the volume knob as tone knob by accident. There's a volume, then 4 tone knobs.

Who is your stage presence hero?

Les Claypool!! Easy! That walk he does all the way across the stage is hilarious and oddly fits his music perfectly. His presence reflects his music.

The knob positioned the highest is the main volume, the one closest to it to the left is mids, the one across from that is highs, and the knob that is positioned the lowest (it has two separate knobs on it) the knob itself is low-mids, and the knob that is connected at the bottom is the lows.

Double Bass Where would I find this transcription?

Hello, guys. I posted this in Misc on DB forum since I find the DB community a tad bit more professional, and in turn a bit more resourceful. I'm searching for a transcription of "Beaver Patrol" by Jaco Pastorius, and my internet searches are not yielding anything helpful. Are there any...

    Double Bass EQing the DB

The Avalon U5 preamp has given me the closest thing to the woody, natural tone of my bass. It's clean, has boost, and also acts as a clean D.I. It's $600, but definitely worth it. I also bought a military explosives case for $12 at my local military surplus store for transportation and has...

    Church/worship musicians: I’m curious

In my opinion, black contemporary gospel music is the best. South Louisiana has got some crazy good gospel musicians. I play a lot of Kurt Carr, Fred Hammond, Donny McClurkin, Tasha Cobb. Ive played for non-denominational churches, but now I'm playing in a Catholic Church where we play nothing...

Double Bass How do you acquire "your next level" upright bass?

Was thinking about selling it to alleviate some of the cost. I'm guessing I can get around $2k for it.

Double Bass How do you acquire "your next level" upright bass?

Hello, bass family. I've had a somewhat lower-quality bass for a decade now, and I've outgrown my bass within the past two years of studying advanced technique and thumb position. My current bass has a very rough time producing a healthy sound in T.P and is making it quite difficult for me to...
