UPDATE: I picked up my bass from the shop!! A neck shim was not needed. Now the string action is were I want it to be!

Yesterday I took my bass to a repair shop. The technician told me that the neck needed a shim. I will let you guys know when it’s ready! Thank you for all the valuable info!
