I have to say, I love this thread. Though I'm still a kid, I've been hankering for a semi-hollow bodied bass for years. And when I came across the hallowed 4005, I was hooked. It's really quite a pity that a) Rickenbacker isn't pursuing a reissue and b) that the originals are so hard to come by...
