Influences and Teachers

The bass-tone that hooked me to the instrument is found on the "Skull & Roses" 1971 Grateful Dead live track "Wharf Rat." However, I also love me some good old Geddy Lee. Could there be any 2 sounds more opposite and still so beautiful? Currently digging Cliff Williams old stuff, working man's bassist.
