I had some basses with severe neck dive problems in the past. Switching to Yamaha BB 425 a few years ago was a relief. Haven't had any issues with the balance of the bass. Also, can't complain about the fit and finish of the bass. It ages well :) Tonewise, my 425x sound a bit darker (to my ear)...
