I got a Behringer combo about 14 years ago. It ain't winnin' any awards but it's been a trouble free rehearsal rig to kick around. Bargain basement for sure. It is what it is. Happy to share this information in the hope that itll be positive and helpful to others.

Sure thing. Yeah if you gotta go bargain basement its tough. Its gonna cost you a bit more to stretch up to a Shen and even more to an Upton but yup money well spent. Ya get what you pay for and big differences for just a few hundred bucks.

Hey thanks for that but it doesnt help much.:) The 3 pups I named are really different in the way they sound so similar and comparable to what? Have ya used all three on one bass? So far, seems like its an ok pup to throw in the bag as a backup. Any o you early buyers pay the full $119 retail?

Maybe you need to listen more slowly. :) A good HPF is a god-send. Your right about that. Guys here have explained and pushed that long before you jumped on the wagon as the preacher. Love parametric EQ too. Just don't wanna pay for a bunch of stuff that I don't want or need. If ya...

Yup, a good amp with good EQ is great. Don't care how fancy the compressor and synth are-- I don't want 'em and I think most DB players don't want 'em. Got nothing to do with context.

DB specific? Lets see if I got this straight. I play DB and really have no need for synthesizers overdrive stuff and really never a compressor. Hate compressors-- they ruin that punchy dynamic. Don't know a lot of DB players who would want that stuff. Waste of money for me and seems many DB...
