    Okay I didn't make my self clear. I readjusted the neck after fretting at the 15th fret to make the 8th fret 12/1000's. When fretting at the 21st fret the 8th fret reads about 19/1000's. I used the Fender bass specs because the only specs I got from the shop regarding relief were "about 1/8"...

    Okay, tried that. Just to be clear, capo on the first fret, fretted at the 15th fret, and checked at the 8th fret, 12/1000's of an inch. Unfortunately, still buzzing from the first to the last fret.

    I put a capo on the first fret and pressed on the last fret (21st) and the relief at the 8th fret is set at 12 thousandths of an inch. Oh, and just FYI, the size of the intonation adjustment screws are #4 40 count threads, 1" long. I had to change to 1 1/4", and 1 1/2" screws. The hardware store...

The screws I am referring to are the intonation adjustment screws, when I changed strings, the saddle for the 'd' string shot right off the end of the screw.
