hey y'all. I play an electric bass but am wanting to try out double bass. I was just curious how the technique differs between each. for example, If I where to learn to play a fretless electric would It translate well to a double bass? any information is appreciated.

I've been listening to them for awhile, love their style and sound. I'm hoping to be able to see them and TOOL sometime soon, can't wait!
