Yep, it's a cheap "cruise control" thing. I only use it for a few seconds once in a while if my right wrist starts aching on a long ride. Real cruise control was an option on my year of T120, and I might try to get it installed at some point, though i think they've since discontinued the parts.

When my bike went down in that incident the day after christmas, the left side engine casing got a decent bunch of scratches, as I didn't yet have the engine guards on there. I did a bunch of mostly cosmetic mods this weekend, and the last thing I did was to start working on those scratches. I...
