    Ah memories, early 80s, If I remember correctly. ,at the Gillan show Budgie played Black Velvet Stallion, and I think Bernie Torme was with Gillan at the time. It was a long time ago.

    Unfortunately not it was the John Thomas line up. Headlining and supporting Gillan. I did see Tony Bourge and Ray Phillips in the band Tredegar in a pub in Coventry, wish I still had the photographs I took.

    Rory Gallagher played a 6 string 1961 Kay value leader. bridge. Knobs and pick guard exactly as this bass version. But what did he know? Looks legit to me.
