    Fodera Club Part XXVII

Wow I didn't know red oak was harder to work with. Although it does make sense. I remember growing up when we split firewood for wood heat, the oak logs were always the hardest to split! Honestly that just makes me admire you're work on them even more! My bass is just a joy to play to say the...

She is beautiful! Congratulations!! Im sure the sound is amazing. The way Fodder's feel blows me away. I can play mine for hours and honestly not get tired of it. Fodera just makes you want to never put their stuff down. That's how you build an instrument!

Congratulations to Vin's son! I know it will definitely be worth the wait! This my first Fodera, but I'm sure the wait never gets easier as your instruments are just so special. This process has truly been incredible and i'm so looking forward to doing it again in the future!

    Fodera Club Part XXVII

My Emperor was set to be completed this week but haven't gotten an email yet. Does anyone know if you only get that email when they are shipping the bass out? Also, I've been seeing people getting photos of their finished basses in the case on Joey's bench when they get the notice that it's...

    Fodera Club Part XXVII

It's gonna be VERY interesting when I get my bass because I have not seen a Fodera with a red oak neck and a maple fb. Phil told me the idea was to tame some of the ping from the ebony by paring it with red oak. The standard 4 and 5 fretless basses I played at the shop both were very resonant...
