Thanks! I think I found the phase switch. The tone selector seems harder to find. The thing is, since the control plate is mounted underneath the wood, the rod or what you call it needs to be very long. Really can't find those anywhere...

You who always bring a backup head, how do you route it? Do you have some sort of A/B device? Or will there no matter what be a short break in the set?

I'm probably getting the Fender Pawnshop series Greta. Seems like a really cool amp. 1 or 2 tube watts. It also has an aux in for you to play your iPod or so. Perfect for learning songs. Also perfect as a kitchen radio! =)

I think I'm about to buy a '76 SVT, but most of the people I talk to say they'd never bring one of those to a gig without also bringing a spare head as well. Any reason to listen to these people? How do you vintage SVT users do?
