Looking for someone to repair a 1963 vintage fender neck

I emailed Randy, I'm looking forward to his response. I'm not 100% into a fully authentic restoration. I would much rather go for the improved truss rods. Very excited about what you all are capable of. Looking forward to getting this neck into your zip code. Have a great day and talk more soon!

Looking for someone to repair a 1963 vintage fender neck

I don't mind one bit, I love a devil's advocate. I'm a sentimental person so this would be for the romance of it. It maybe and extension of my creative process. None the less, I never sell my basses, I've only purchased 8 in my 26 years of playing. Each one has a very special sentiment. I...

Is older heavier gear getting cheap since light weight is the fad?

No crap. I’m a SWR man. As a result of this light weight craze I’ve purchased a 2 Goliath jr, Bertha, and a Goliath III for under $500 in the past 4 years. I already owned a 350 and 750 head. Plus a 70’s SVT ....Now I cabs to drive em.

    Fodera really worth the cost?

In 2001 i dropped today's equivalent of $5,500 on a boutique bass. Although i still own it... I've always played my $1500 and less basses (Fender P & J's, Stingray) over it. So, I share your sentiment completely. I don't feel that a Fodera nor the like (Avella Coppollo) is worth the bread...

Rotosound 66 Out of Hell pt2: Back into Rotosound 66

Put my on the list.... I’ve been playing roto66’s for 10 years. 45-105. Just put a fresh set on my 65 Jazz today. Love the new string sound. I’ve tried everything... nothing gives me the rock growl like them. I wish they lasted me longer than three months though. But I play everyday.

Hey! I will be glad to tell the story. I live in Richmond, VA. For years, my daily routine would include searching craigslist for vintage beat up fender basses. I found this one in Virginia Beach VA. I drove to the guys house with cash in hand. Most of my basses are beat up fenders. I...

1966 fender jazz bass w/ custom color

I still don't know the color but its way more teal metallic in the cavities so I've ruled out LPB. there is a stamped # 12 in the neck cavity. Does anyone know what that may mean? Over a year and half later, I still have not got it refinished. Its been in constant rotation with my 65 J and my...
