I just came back home, I quickly slapped together the White Room bass line (with terrible mistakes, I'd add!). All knobs on 10. USB cable into Audacity. It's less nasal than it is on my amp.

The highs and mids are mostly there. There's no lows! I'll have to try recording something. They don't look like D'Addario strings: all their strings have the little colored nut at one end, right?
