Okay, what should I do if I want to use PJ pickups? Could I find a pick guard to fit that or would I have to cut that all myself?

Also I've heard many good things about EMG, but how would I make them fit?

By sound I didn't mean tone, it's the clartiy and the crisp sound they have that I like, also I pluck and use tight strings so it means I don't have to pluck so hard and shred my fingers up to get a nice clear sound.
