Same, I gigged as a guitarist for a summer in a cover band that was run by my original project's drummer with an early 90s Boss multi effect pedal and my bass rig.

I bought a 2017 Starfire 2 here a couple years ago. It is my favorite 4 string to play and hear.

Yellowstone was a slow burn... I recall almost giving up after a couple episodes in. I didn't watch any of them until Yellowstone's last session was airing. Lots of great writing and acting. Dutton Ranch is a nice extension with the Daughter/Matriarch, her husband the former main ranch hand...

I just watched the first episode of 1883... I plan to rewatch all of it followed by 1923 and then Yellowstone. I've seen them all, but Dutton Ranch has me missing the ranch and family of Yellowstone... figured I should start it chronologically

Jazz Rounds get my vote too. I've got them on all my basses that don't have flats (TI as well). I didn't need a new nut on any of them, but I have used set with close to a .090 E string since the 80s.

Teese RMC3 for me... DIP switches and such set to the "smooth & sweet" settings.

Pick playing is perfectly acceptable, the 'no pick' thing is a close minded myth.

Thanks! It is my 7 string Worker Bee. It is a Wenge board and a vine from Mexico that is usually sold for knife handles and pen blanks under the name "Silver Vine". I always preferred no inlays but like blocks too. A per peeve is when builders put 4 string Jazz bass width blocks on extended...
