I'm glad you're digging your Icon. I just got a new one this week (Icon NS-5 - black with a maple quilt top) and quickly decided it's not for me. Maybe I'm just spoiled from playing Euros and USA custom shop basses over the years. It just feels cheap in my hands. Don't know how else to explain...

I have a question re: the LHZ preamp install in your Bantam. In addition to the main LHZ-04 pre w/ concentric EQ pots, did you also buy the volume, blend and pre-wired jack? I'm just wondering what was involved and if soldering was required (definitely not my forte). Cheers
