I have a 90s G&L and it had a dead note at D# on the G string. It came with standard three bolt system so I thought a six bolt update AND threaded inserts would correct the dead spot...Nope . It is still there , the neck is very solid feeling but I don't think any of it was necessary.

I have a nice G&L LB100 (P Bass) with a 3 bolt neck connection and am thinking about modding it with a (G&L) 6 bolt neck plate with threaded inserts for a tighter neck fit. Does anyone think this as a bad idea?:hmm:

How about low tuned Flatwounds , any sugestion s?

I can't wait for rehearsal to try this out. I definately like the sound of the 12s as apposed to 10s.

I just got a Shuttle 6.0 and also ordered a 2x12 Aguilar 600 watt @ 4ohm. cab. I thought this was a good match as the amp says it will handle 600 watts @ 4 ohms.But after reading the manual it says the 2 speaker outputs are wired paralell. Heres the question ...if I only use one output to...
