If I'm not mistaken, someone was somehow collecting strings to give to folks in poverty stricken areas in Central & South America.

I remember a member starting a string donation program awhile back, but I can't seem to find the thread. I have several sets of used strings that I'm trying to donate. Could someone please help me find this? Thanks, JM

Bump. I recently put a broken-in set of TI jazz flats on this bass. I forgot to mention earlier that an unknown set of used flats comes with the bass as well. (They came with it when I received it) You will still get the SS D'addarios. You get a choice between Fender gig-bag or a generic...

I recently installed an Area J in the bridge position of my P/J project bass. It originally had a standard single coil J, and I wanted to get rid of the 60 cycle noise. Everything is wired and working with one problem. When I put both volumes to the same level, the E and A strings drop out...

Thanks Bill. Is there any purpose for the patch cable then? Funny thing is that we were getting sound from the cab in passive mode when hooked up this way, although I don't think the horn was producing any sound.
