A friend of mine converted a 6 string Ibanez SDRG-something to 5 string with 4 string spacing. He basically made a new nut, removed one tuner and used two 4 string bridges that he sawed in half (one for 2 strings and one for 3 strings) It was killer to play! So nice to have that familiar 4...
