Got a Rat kit delivered this week, so new pedal is coming to the board!

It's got a learning curve and you gotta spend some time bonding with it via software... But the SourceAudio C4 is a pretty versatile and capable beast.

Between the Julia and the DM, I'd got for the Julia/Julianna. Reverb/Delay is fun as shag, but it's harder to find a place for it. Also, you already got octave, fuzzy-kinda thing, envelope... You just need a chorus for that sweet sweet 80s sound haha

I don't really have the compressor on when I'm fooling around with the C4. Also, since I plan on swapping it with the Aftershock from time to time, I rather have it there for... Moving less stuff around lol

Updated my small board last night. Have been playing a lot with both the C4 and the Aftershock the past week. I plan to switch between em depending on what I'm aiming for, that way I have either double overdrive or one drive + synth/envelope.

I did hear some nice OC2 coming out of the C4, definitely great for that. While I agree that in some scenarios I'd rather just take the C4 than my Vintage Octave + Envelope Filter(so it's good to have a couple of those patches around), I'm trying to avoid replacing pedals. A synth pad definitely...

I've seen plenty of posts around the web of people (myself included) saying 'Got a C4 Synth pedal, yay!', and lots of troubleshooting and technical questions... but not much discussion of how we are using em on the musical side. I've had mine for a couple of days, I'm still testing out stuff and...

That's exactly what they look like to me, I wouldn't be surprised at all if JSH ends up saying that was the idea. Same, that fuzz is catching my attention

I think they had a pretty cool idea. Something affordable with no bells n whistles, but sounds good (I liked their guitar demos... waiting for some bass ones to pop up). I actually like the simple design, and as mentioned above the lack of variation helps to keep costs down (it's a brilliant...
