Dumb question: with amp head volume turned way down, like on 1, will a 2x12 be at conversational volume, or will it shake the windows? Does 2x12 add tone over a 1x12, or is it just more volume?

Marko1 ... right on with the big, full bass tone. I like Black Sabbath, Doobie Brothers, Earth Wind and Fire, Red Hot Chili Peppers, all those big, bold bass lines that make the song. Probably not gonna find band mates that want to jam all this dad rock with me. Anyway, thanks so much for the help.
