Trying to find an instructional method

Thanks for the suggestions all. Ed Friedland seemed to get a bunch of love, so I got his Bass Method books. Looks like the online courses mentioned here have enough free content that once I'm a bit through this, I can sort through them and decide. Now nothing left to do besides a bunch of...

Trying to find an instructional method

Yep, there is obviously that. I don't expect to learn such a style explicitly from a book, that bit about me was more geared towards "if there is an instructional method that goes that way, I'd be interested". Trying to find an instructional method

Trying to find an instructional method

Trying to find an instructional method

Thanks, I'll take a look into those options! Both. I'm past the basics of playing a generic instrument (ie can already read music, keep time, understand scales and progressions, etc), although a refresher on theory after a bit might be useful. Just looking for the best resources to get going...

Trying to find an instructional method

Hi all... I am looking for a bass learning system. Short background, I played classical violin for eight years in school, and have plucked on a mandolin for a good three hours a year in the fifteen years since. I just bought an acoustic fretless bass (Aria FEB) guitar sight unseen. Not...
