ok, I love reading these forums, and of course I love all the insight everyone has... and I also love a bargain... I just bought this older Rogue bass from a buddy of mine and it was just terrible at first, but after truss rod adjustments that were so many as to be scary, and shimming the neck...

I own that exact same bass... mine is from 2002 I believe and I love it. it sounds better to me than the newer neck thru body BTBs and I prefer the tone controls on it my pickups say Ibanez... but again... I think they sound better than the new ones that are labeled Bartolini.
