How does this compare to say a Yamaha trb? I like the wide thin neck on mine, but have always wanted the Warwick sound. Is the neck more like a wide P bass near nut or narrow and thick? I have played the regular thumb 6s, but didn't like the string spacing.

I'd contact them, it's good karma. Who knows, it may just work out in your advantage seeing that they'd have to pay shipping for your new bass, and return shipping for the 4 string. If they have to eat that much shipping, then maybe it's just better off to leave the deal as it panned out...

Still seems like a great deal in bulk. I would have loved to have caught that. I have one too many basses without a case/bag, and I have some friends in the same predicament.

Thanks for the input Bassbenj! I didn't even realize these were different wood from the first run. I DO prefer alder over ash too. At this price, I'll reconsider it again. I was planning on using one tuned E to E to utilize its string spacing and get rid of my Ibanez SR 560. I could probably...

Been wanting to pull the trigger since last batch came out. I have it in cart, picked out a case.... but now I'm worried about how accessible are the higher frets. How does it feel at the neck heel area? I don't play many bolt-on necks, but I know that I despise fender/squire neck heels.

Bumps for the quick reply, Thank you. I'm used to the 19mm (3/4") spacing on my TRB, but I can work comfortably with with something around 18". The 35" does kill it for me tho. Too bad tho, this is a sweet looking bass.

Where abouts in Tx are ya? I'm in Brownsville, SPI area. I've been looking for a 34" scale fretless 6, but most of them don't have wide enough spacing (19mm) for me. What's scale, and string spacing on this one?
