I went with Donner Noise Killer. A very cheap fix. I need to set it at 11, clock hand, and it worked so I never went further into the problem.

I am 62 and I use a Fender Precision LYTE from the 80's. It is a 22 fret neck and is 7 pounds. I keep asking Fender to remake it because of the weight. The PJ setup is also nice.

I think this is about the American Ultra Precision bass, American Performer Bass the Jaguar and Mustang being in the new Fender lineup. I went backwards to the 1990's Fender Lyte which has enough frets as the Ultra Precision and is light. I think Fender should bring this back out. I use zoom...
