Not new, its second hand. So there isn't any warranty. The price I received it for makes up for any repair costs though, which is nice.

Thank you Zoober, looks like the forum got moved to the right location. Sounds good basscooker, I'm heading to my dining hall right now, but once I get back I will try that and post back here with any results.

I also put the speaker back into the cab without plugging it in, however, when it was in there unplugged there was still an unpleasant sound coming from it, I assume that would just be the vibrations creating unwanted noise on the unmoving speaker
