Just picked up my Mikro the other night. I REALLY wanted the sunburst, but all they had at GC was black and blue....they were on sale at $139 so I said heck with it and grabbed one in black. Love it so far, only thing I am planning on doing is raising the strings a little from the frets cause it...

I've been able to get away with the "sound" so far since I'm running, and have been for years, a 1969 Sunn amp. But I know the day will come that old reliable is gonna take a permanent nap on me...she's hung on so far, so crossing my fingers. This thread has been an eye opener.... Thanks again!

Thanks again guys. I've never been big on trying to mimic an original. If that's what I/We wanted we'd form a tribute band. I've always had appreciation for bands that take an original and make it their own...but that's just me. Thanks again for all the replies. I'm seriously considering taking...

I agree...35 years of playing bass and have yet to use one...have yet to use a pick too :)...just curious in case I decide to try one.
