Thank you for great post. So there IS a dip at 500khz unless dialed out intentionally. Why is it there then? Part of speaker emulation, too? Is it same with the discontinued Acoustic DI?

I find this very interesting. Users report there IS scoop with their PDDI but Tech21nyc claims NOT. Can someone post any measured frequency response plot, with all EQ knobs centered or at null position? That will clear up easily.

+1. I'm also using LMB-3 as a hard limiter, especially when I have to record songs with some slappings. For nominal 'compressing,' I rely on my trusty EBS MultiComp.

I've been playing acoustic guitar for 25+ years and had many high-end acoustics. If I were you, I'll try to find a Taylor Big Baby. It's small but has full scale. Most 'baby' size guitars are compromised IMHO, but this one is not a joke. Beautiful tone and great playability. Definitely worth...
